How We Can Help

Creating a home of real quality takes more than drawings. It takes clear thinking, careful planning and a design process that properly considers how you want to live.

At iMAC Architecture, we work with clients who want more than a standard solution. We design thoughtfully detailed homes, interiors and landscapes that feel considered, refined and tailored to the people living in them.

Whether you are planning a new build, a major renovation, an extension or a wider transformation of your home and grounds, we provide a clear route from first ideas through to approvals and, where required, on through construction to completion.

Our role is to bring clarity to the process, confidence to the decisions being made and a level of design input that lifts the overall result.

Our Core Package

Our Core Package covers Stages 1–4a and is designed to take your project from initial concept through to statutory approvals and technical design.

This typically includes briefing, concept design, design development, planning application information, Building Control / technical drawings and outline specifications.

In practical terms, it gives you the level of design development and technical information needed to move your project forward properly, obtain approvals and prepare for construction.

Additional Services

For clients who want a more complete level of support, we also offer additional services from Stage 4b to Stage 7.

These services can include tender support, contractor coordination, site inspections, contract administration and guidance through the construction phase to completion and handover.

The level of involvement is tailored to suit the project and the level of support you want throughout the build.

Project Values

We typically take on building projects with a minimum construction value of £130,000 and garden design projects with a minimum construction value of £60,000 .

This allows us to dedicate the level of attention, design development and technical input needed to deliver homes and landscapes to a high standard. For larger, more bespoke or particularly design-led projects, fees and scope are tailored accordingly.

What Influences Fees

Fees are influenced by the scale of the project, the complexity of the design, the planning context, site constraints, the level of detailing required and the degree of support needed during construction.

Projects involving listed buildings, extensive remodelling, bespoke interiors, integrated landscape design, challenging sites or a higher level of visualisation and design development will naturally require more input.

Additional Costs

Alongside architectural fees, most projects will also require allowance for other professional and statutory costs. These can include surveys, planning fees, Building Control fees, structural engineering, energy assessments, specialist reports, quantity surveying and other consultant input where required.

We raise these considerations early so you have a more complete understanding of the likely overall investment, rather than a narrow view of one fee in isolation.

A Better Process From The Start

A well-designed project should feel clear from the outset. You should understand what is included, what decisions need to be made, and what level of investment is likely before you get too far down the road.

That is exactly how we work. We provide a structured, design-led service that helps you move forward with confidence, knowing your project is being developed with care, clarity and attention to detail.

If you are planning a home that deserves more than an off-the-shelf approach, an initial consultation is the best place to start.
